About This Project: 

This module was created in an effort to provide engaging and interactive learning for my 5-year old son while learning at home. Information presented in this module was sourced from several online websites including NatGeo Kids, Science Kids, and Live Science. Audio/Video/Images: Video and graphics are stock. The audio was created using Articulate Storyline’s text-to-speech function.

Project Title: Vespa mandarinia (Asian giant hornet/murder hornet)

About This Project: 

This module was created in an effort to provide information about the murder hornet. A known nuisance in Asian that was sighted for the first time in the U.S. in 2020. Information presented in this module was sourced from several online websites including Smithsonian, Livescience, Scientific America, and others listed in resources. Audio/Video/Images: All images are stock. The main video is stock footage. Short animations were created and built using PowerPoint and converting into an MP4 to load into the Storyline project.

Project Title: The Scientific Method

About This Project: 

This video provides a brief overview of the scientific method. Sometimes it is the simplest animations and transitions that can catch the eye of younger learners when displaying basic steps and information. Audio/Video/Images: All part of Powtoon’s subscription plan.
